Latest Pastoral Search Committee Update

The Pastoral Search Committee has received 142 applicants for our Senior Pastor position (as mentioned in the previous announcement). We have further narrowed our selection to 14 applicants which includes our 4 Associate Ministers who have applied for the position (Rev. Timothy Bullock, Rev. Willie Fields, Rev. Darryl Gause, Rev. Sammie Haskin). The goal of the Pastoral Search Committee is to present our 4 Associate Ministers (listed above) along with an additional 4 applicants to the congregation. Please continue to pray for us and with us as we continue this process. Thank You!

The Pastoral Search Committee has received 142 applicants for our Senior Pastor position, and out of those submissions we have 32 applicants that met all of the requirements that were set forth in our job announcement. We are now taking a look at the videos of sermons, bible studies, and other information to narrow that number down to 10 applicants. Once we have completed this sometimes tedious but comprehensive and lengthy task, then we will move on to the next step which will be the interview process. A final selection of 5 applicants will be presented to the church.

Please do continue to be patient with us (as this is no easy assignment) and keep us lifted in your prayers as we move forward with the search for our next Senior Pastor.
